 Here Mr.Perera  refers to a particular teacher  
It is maths teacher's real name 





Pavan and Pahan are  Parami's friends

  Here Pavan and Pahan  refers to particular friends of Parami  
They are Param's friends real names




Queen Elizabeth ruled England.

Here  Queen Elizabeth refers to particular queen.
It is a real name of a queen

Proper Nouns

Proper means one's own therefore proper name is a person's own name. 



They are the real names of particular 
people, animals or  places 

They are special to each person  or a place

They are the names of people like:

They can be the real names of girls ,boys men women,
kings ,queens, teachers etc.

They are also the names of places  like :

Colombo,Jaffna,India, Piduruthalagala

They can be the real names of  cities countries ,shops,
schools ,hospitals mountains etc.

Days of the week ,months of the year  are also proper nouns.

Proper nouns are always written with a capital letter at the beginning
